Melissa Krajeski, M.S.O.M, L.Ac
Melissa Krajeski holds a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine, is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and is licensed in Utah as an Acupuncturist. Bringing 27 years of clinical experience to her practice, Melissa helps people overcome health concerns including neck pain, low back pain, sports injuries, depression/anxiety/stress, digestive problems, fertility, and immune disorders.
Melissa is originally from Oahu, Hawai'i and San Luis Obispo, California. She made Park City her home in 2007 when she moved with her husband to start their family and found Longevity Acupuncture Clinic.
Melissa's career in the healing arts began as a Licensed Massage Therapist. She attended a one-year residential program at Heartwood Institute in Northern California where she obtained certifications in Swedish Massage, Structural Bodywork, Zen Shiatsu, NLP, and Polarity Therapy. While at Heartwood, Melissa studied Oriental Nutrition with Paul Pitchford, author of the bestselling book Healing With Whole Foods.
Melissa's early experience as a holistic health practitioner ignited her interest in traditional medicine and led her on travels to Indonesia, Thailand, China and Japan. As part of her Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology she spent a year in Xi'an, China to study Mandarin Chinese. Melissa then returned to the U.S. to complete a 4 year Master of Science degree program in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) at Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM. She currently practices Japanese Meridian Therapy and continues her studies with the High Desert Hari Society in New Mexico and Japan.
